PIN You Pay - Sign You Save!

Effective July 1 when you use your ATM/Debit card for PIN point of sale transactions there will be a 25 cent fee for each transaction. This fee will not apply to withdrawals from an ATM.

You are probably wondering what this means - well, when you swipe your card when making a transaction and it asks for your PIN you simply cancel and it will then ask if it is "debit or credit" you select credit. Then it will ask for you to sign. Choosing credit and signing is safer and you don't have to remember your PIN. If you have a dispute when using the PIN method there is no recourse because the stores assume you have given someone the PIN. When it is signed you have your signature as proof if there is a dispute.
